Needlepoint applique Mola masks,
made by Kuna women in Panama

Support our partner communities in the Kuna Yala Comarca through the purchase of these unique beautiful mola masks depicting our focal species. Molas are traditionally made and worn as clothing by Kuna women. More recently these unique and delicate appliques have become an important source of income for Guna families as they are commonly sold as souvenirs to tourists. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all tourism to Panama has stopped and the Comarca has closed its borders.

Your support for these isolated coastal communities is hugely appreciated. 100% of proceeds will go to support the women crafters and their communities with fisher support, educational and food assistance.
