Andrés Fraiz, MSc

National Coordinator, Panama

The Panama National Coordinator, Andrés E. Fraiz T. graduated in Biology from the State University of Campinas, with a Postgraduate Degree in Environmental Management from the Federal University of San Carlos, both in Brazil.

He has more than 18 years of experience in Coastal Management projects and more than 10 years in the NGO sector, with scientific publications and research in primary production and carbon stock measurement, restoration of coastal ecosystems, coastal erosion, lake ecosystems and fisheries, developing projects in Panama, Brazil, Colombia, Jamaica and Grenada. He speaks four languages and is a member of the IUCN ecosystem commission.
