Chris has worked in the non-profit sector since 2019, bringing strong communication expertise grounded in his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His career has centered on supporting mission-driven organizations, particularly those with a research focus in genomic medicine and rare cancers.

Beyond his professional experience, Chris is a lifelong advocate for marine science. He has served as a long-standing volunteer with Mote Marine Laboratory and with Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, contributing as both a docent and diver. He is eager to apply his skills and passion to advancing MarAlliance’s mission, with a focus on strengthening its donor base and adoption program.
