Eyzer Tepaz is from the coastal village of Sarteneja in northern Belize. He has been working with MarAlliance for the past year and also fishes commercially. Eyzer has taken part in local mangrove restoration efforts, which have shifted his perspective on conservation. He now recognizes how harmful actions can impact the environment and wildlife, and believes that protecting natural resources is key to sustaining his community.
