Joselyn Aylin Alvarado is a field assistant for MarAlliance in the province of Veraguas, Panama. She began working with MarAlliance in 2022, conducting fish landings in the community of Palo Seco. Since then, she has gained experience identifying marine species and better understanding the ecological dynamics of the area, work that has allowed her to develop scientific skills in the field and discover a genuine passion for marine life.
Aylin has found a space to grow professionally at MarAlliance. Each trip out to sea with the team represents a learning opportunity for her. Her dedication, discipline, and constant desire to improve drive her to contribute her best to the work of monitoring and conservation.
